Paramedic/EMT-A   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
Evans County is currently seeking part time and full-time Paramedics and EMT-A’s. Certification as a Paramedic by the State of Georgia or National Registry is accepted. Paramedic must also be certified in ACLS, PALS, BCLS. EMT-A must be Certified by the State of Georgia and have BLS. Both positions require possession of a valid driver’s license with solid history of safe driving issued by the State of Georgia. Evans County is an equal opportunity employer. Road Maintenance Worker   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Road Department is accepting applications for part-time Road Maintenance Worker, be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Applicants must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and have prior experience in operating various types of heavy equipment. Fire & Rescue Training Officer   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications for a part-time Fire and Rescue Training Officer. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older, and have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Successful completion of the Basic Fire Training Course required by the Evans County Fire Department. Must be able to obtain certification of Firefighter II, and HAZ-MAT Operations for First Responder within the first three years of employment. The primary duty of the position is to respond to fire and other emergencies with an engine, ladder, or rescue company in accordance with all departmental regulations. The incumbent also performs other related job duties when not responding to fires, medical calls, and/or other emergencies, such as equipment maintenance, general housekeeping, participating in ongoing job related training, the performance of fire inspections, and public fire prevention presentations.
