Heavy Equipment Operator   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Road Department is accepting applications for a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. The applicants must be able to work in adverse weather conditions, operate heavy equipment and other machinery (i.e. backhoe, excavator, bulldozer, front end loader, tractor), be at least 18 years of age or older, and have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Probate Court Clerk   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Probate Court is accepting applications for full-time Court Clerk.
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and have a valid Georgia driver’s license. Applicants must possess extensive computer experience and skills, preferably Microsoft Office, have excellent communication skills and not possess a criminal record or have pending charges. Legal experience a plus. Applicants are subject to a criminal and traffic background investigation as well as drug testing. Primary duties will involve data entry, extensive computer work, processing of court documents, general bookkeeping related work, record keeping and general duties related to office management, working with vital records and assistance in election duties.
