Part-Time Registrar Office Assistant   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Registrar’s Office is accepting applications for part-time Office Assistant. Applicant must be a citizen of Evans County to be considered for this position. Applicant must be willing to work full time during Early Voting Cycles. Applicant will be responsible for registering eligible voters, maintaining state dashboard, assist early voting and absentee voting in the county, answering phone calls, filing and general office duties. Applicant must be responsible and dependable. Full-Time Code Investigator/Deputy Sheriff   |   ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
The Evans County Code Enforcement Office is accepting applications for full-time Code Investigator/Deputy Sheriff. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be possess (or be able to do so) a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. Be a P.O.S.T. certified officer. Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and level of expertise in the field of work. Be able to work odd hours and perform 24-hour on-call duty when needed. Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of specialized training in the field of work, in addition to basic skills typically associated with high school education and additional schooling. Experience sufficient to thoroughly understand the diverse objectives and functions of the departments and the court in order to understand subordinate positions, typically interpreted to require one to three years of related experience.
